Robert Arp received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Saint Louis University
in November, 2004. His dissertation, renamed Scenario
Visualization: An Evolutionary Account of Creative Problem Solving, was published
by MIT Press in 2008.
His areas of specialization include Philosophical Ontology, Philosophy of Biology, and Philosophy of Mind.
He is a Research Associate with the National Center for Biomedical Ontology and
works with the Ontology Research Group at the
New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences
doing research in foundational ontology and ontology development
related to the biomedical domain.
